“…a great experience working with Hawaii Open Data on the Iconlocal project that designed some very meaningful and images for homeless service community to use to identify key services in our continuum. Cross sector collaboration and interdisciplinary efforts between designers, communication, IT specialists and human service providers was invigorating and interesting. Very Productive.”

“In 2012, I attended the Hon*Celerator event in support of a co-worker at the University of Hawaii who was presenting his civic app. I was thrilled to see and learn about all the apps presented that day and got very excited about some new ideas. A few years later, in my new job with the State, I was looking for ways to provide the public with better info about recycling center locations and operating hours. I called Hawaii Open Data and realized one of the teams at Hon*Celerator had developed the “redeemhi5” app. Developer George Lee updated the app now found at http://www.redeemhi5.com/#!/ for the Deposit Beverage Container program. Great job and Mahalo, Hawaii Open Data.”
